Tatjana Turanskyj is one of the most important representatives of the present German feminist cinema. In addition to her work as a filmmaker, producer and author, Tatjana Turanskyj is a co-founder of Pro Quote Regie, the organization for gender justice and diversity in the film industry. In addition to lectures and workshops on "Women and Work", she has been a speaker on gender and film on various panels. With Jan Ahlrichs she founded the film production company turanskyj & ahlrichs GbR to revive the author film.
