They are together for a long time. Years in love and normal daily action. He has a child from a previous relationship. Than she gets pregnant and they are just very happy. She looses the child. Everything keeps the same. Nothing is the same anymore.
Maike Mia Höhne
Maike Mia Höhne (°1971 in Hannover, Germany) completed her artistic education at the Hochschule für bildende Künste (HfbK), Hamburg, and at the Escuela de Bellas Artes, Havana. Using personal narration and a direct cinema approach on directing to create a very open cinema experience. Höhne explores the relationship between language and truth to produce a series of portrait films in which the close relationship itself is continuously interrogated. Her work has been included in numerous film festivals. e.g. in Sao Paulo, New York, Oberhausen. She works a a curator of the Berlinale Shorts, Berlinale Filmfestival. She has been a Jury Member amongst others for renomated festivals around the globe such as Locarno, Busan, Rio de Janeiro, Oberhausen, Winterthur, Vila Do Conde. Höhne gives lectureships at the HfbK, Hamburg and is a member of the Film Fundation Hamburg. She is an editor and programmer of several DVDs dealing with Politics and Sexuality. She lives and works in Hamburg und Berlin and is mother of two children.
